I just saw the movie, and though I haven't read the books yet (figured reading romances when your boyfriend is 2 states away isn't smart) I've basically heard the whole story line. So, the movie was good, but the whole time I was thinking...wow, Edward learned that from my boyfriend. Don't believe me? He composes, loves to dance with me, is romantic and is saving everything for me. Yep. Ms Meyers stole her ideas from spying on my bf. :-D

And when I saw it, there were no child brides. Seriously, why didn't you get a picture??

I saw it yesterday and was happy. I didn't love it but I very much enjoyed it, the books will have a dear place in my heart just because you can do so much more with that many pages vs two hours in a movie. They did the best they could with the time that they had! Go them, good job!

You remind me of the thoughts I wish I could communicate properly but can't. I didn't get the child brides, Thank the Lord, but Hub Hub and I stood in line in front of a group of 4 who were arguing whether or not Vampires have nipple rings, or in fact if they have nipples at all. Hub Hub had to hold me, so I wouldn't open my mouth and inform them how stupid they are. I have a hard time not telling people what I think....

Then we had the pleasure of sitting in front of a full class room of friends and the one that sat directly behind me was a big boy who liked to randomly burst in to show tunes. My patience was wearing quite thin.

Oh my, you are too funny. I am giggling at your hoodies. So I am heading to the midnight show tonight with all the gals in my book club. I haven't read a word of this series and as of yet have no plans to. So in a way, I feel like an outsider observing a very strange cult of women up close. It's like these books have created their own subculture. It will be interesting.
