(Like, today. And holy crap my house is cleaner than it's EVER been.)
(Even Hubs said so. I think he was just patting his own back though, since he was mainly the one who cleaned it.)
To commemorate Ben's visit to our beautiful and bountiful country, I thought long and hard about an appropriate tribute.
A heartfelt song? An interpretive dance? Skywriting? Strippers?
I felt as though none of those were enough.
(Except maybe the strippers. Chippendales, call me.)
Instead, I decided to do something I should have done a LONG time ago, and that's to come out of the closet. The BLOGGING closet, that is. What better way to celebrate?
These pictures were taken by yours truly (note the I-might-as-well-be-12-years-old-myspace-style camera placement) on Saturday night after my brother-in-law's wedding. That's what happens when you're drunk on vodka diets and wedding cake: you let your updo down and take silly pictures of yourself in the mirror while your husband snores obliviously on the couch with his suit halfway off.

Fabulous! Look how gorgeous you are! (I'm totally all excited to meet you, can you tell?) Oh, and having just been to Vegas last month and seeing all the signs, I have to say this: fuck the Chippendales, we need us some Thunder From Down Under! I'm not even kidding when I say how much hotter those guys are, seriously. It may have something to do with the accents (naturally) and the fact that they only wear jeans and are thus that much easier to fantasize about.
