I have a ridiculously busy week ahead of me.
(Seriously. RIDICULOUS.)
Not only is Hubs' baby brother getting married this weekend, but I'm also moving salons, attending my Grandma's 80th birthday party AND seeing JenBun off on a fun filled New York vacation.
There is A LOT to do. A LOT. The wedding preparations have reached an all-time frenzy, I have to organize my ENTIRE CAREER INTO BOXES, Grandma's birthday is a big event, and JenBun...well...if you've seen our closets you might be able to understand a glimmer of what it means to pack for NYC.
(Hubs kind of wants to hide in the garage till Monday. Can't say that I blame him.)
However, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh yes.
One week (plus a couple hours) from today, No Ordinary Rollercoaster Goes Blog. That's right, my friends. Tia + Ben = EPIC.
We've been planning Ben's excursion west for months now, and I can't believe it's literally right around the corner. We've got all kinds of things planned: A Kelly Clarkson concert, the zoo, RENT, shopping...I can't wait!
The time is now. The countdown is officially ON.
(Because seriously? Any countdown longer than seven days is not fool proof. We tried to start at like 3 weeks and got confused all the time.)
(Shutup, we're pretty and occasionally distracted by shiny objects.)
So at this time I'd like to take a moment to say: Thank you, Kelly Clarkson. Thank you for getting Ben's cute Canadian ass out here for a visit. I'm truly in your debt.
Another thank you worth mentioning must be: the internet. Thank you, internet, for being the vehicle in which I am fortunate enough to meet kickass people. Way to shed your scary-AOL-chat-room image. I applaud you!
I would also like to say thank you to my extremely patient and occasionally saint-like husband, because when I asked him to please make some time to clean up the house before Ben comes and his "Why do *I* have to do it?" remark was met with a borderline maniacal "BECAUSE I'M HAVING AN EMOTIONAL CRISIS"...he didn't even bat an eye.
And that, my friends, is a keeper.

"whooooo!"
Sheesh. That is a lot!!
Can't wait for your posts about all the festivities.
You can do it!! (Said in true "Waterboy" fashion.)
I, too, am suddenly hella busy, with a month-long trip to Chicago coming up in FOUR DAYS [insert panic squeal here], but your to-do list takes the cake!
Hubs is a keeper...does he have any single brothers? I hope you and JenBun have fun packing! I also hope you and Ben have a blast!
Have a blast! And I want details about RENT!
Holy busy!!! HAve lots of fun!
Busy weeks are always the best. They may be stressful, but there is too much going on to worry about anything else. I hope you have the best of times.
I'm almost wondering if your husband would be willing to try the "I'm having an emotional crisis" on you some day. That would be interesting to see. It's great to know that he is so understanding, you definitely have a good one there.
Oh I'm so glad you're having a good busy week! I hope you have a totally awesome time!
Hi! Just stopping by from 20SB. I love your blogging goodness!
Hooray, Ben's coming!!!
Now... can you have Hubs come finish cleaning MY house??? ;)
It's going to be a fun weekend... and I'm SO glad that you will be in good, Canadian (modelesque!) hands while I'm gone! :D
xoxox
I love busy weeks, and how fun that your friend is visiting. Jealous! As for your hubs, you're right, that is a keeper. It's so nice having a man who can handle you even during a crisis.
Don't do anything I wouldn't do. Which leaves not that many choices.
Yeah, meeting bloggers is my FAVORITE! You two are going to have the greatest time ever.
Well well. Good luck with your busy weekend, cutie patootie.
:)

Sounds like fun girl! Keep us all posted. I can't wait to read about it!
I should warn you, in advance of Ben's arrival, that we Nova Scotians are 2000% awesomer in person than we are online.
Be prepared.
first timer here, Helllooo. and- definitely a keeper.
WoW you didn't even have to beat him into submission! I applaud you!
