"L"ove.

Once again, I've been in and out of the blogging loop lately. I know I've been somewhat neglecting this place, but I assure you it's because I'm spending my time having TONS of adventures which I will then turn into scintillating blog posts.

(Because really, my absence couldn't POSSIBLY be related to my alleged laziness, right?)

I rarely participate in memes, but the other day I was reading alexa(not capitalized on purpose, yo)'s blog, and she was handing out letters for an ABC game, and I figured "Why not?"

(And for the record? I'm not exactly sure WHY I don't usually do memes, but I'm assuming it's because I'm lazy.)

Anyhoodle.

My letter, assigned to me by alexa, is "L", and I'm supposed to make a list of 10 things I love that start with that letter. Aaaaand here we go!

1. Loubous. If shoes were a man, Loubous would be a mixture of the best parts of Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Dylan McKay, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, and Edward Cullen. Not only that, they would also cook you dinner, buy you flowers, and sing you a song while playing the guitar. (And yes, I know I named a few fictional characters in my list, but it was necessary.)




2. Literature. I love to read. Seriously. I'll read just about anything. When I was little my mom had to put the cereal box away in the cupboard otherwise I'd be late to school as I dawdled over my soggy breakfast, idly reading the back of the box.


3. Little dogs. Until I owned a Yorkie, I never thought I'd like little dogs. I thought they were yappy and hyperactive. (Which, they can be. Sometimes.) However, I stand corrected, because the tininess and cuteness HEAVILY outweighs the occasional shivering and timidity.



4. Laziness. 'Nuff said.



5. Lance Bass. He is SO MANY of my favorite things: gay, well-groomed, singer, dancer. What's not to like? In fact, he ALMOST wins as best former member of 'N Sync. (And when I say almost, it is because you KNOW that no one holds a candle to JT. I mean, c'mon. Let's not kid ourselves.)


6. Laughter. They say it's the best medicine, you know. I figure that's why I'm so healthy, because I spend so much time laughing at other people. I mean, with. WITH other people. Not at them. And especially NOT at Joaquin Phoenix, because I think his hip hop career is going to skyrocket! Just like K-Fed's. (Seriously, Joaquin, I wish you the best. But just in case, I'll buy a couple copies of "Walk the Line"...you know, to keep you in pocket money.)



7. Letters. I used to have a pen pal when I was in junior high. He was a nephew of my mom's friend, and he lived...uhm...somewhere in the middle of the country. I don't remember. Anyway. I love getting letters. I love writing them too, so even though I don't have a pen pal, I write letters on my blog. I find it's much more freeing, because I don't have to worry about pesky things like stamps, or, you know, the actual existence of the addressee.


8. Lip gloss. (What? I can't be deep ALL the time.) I love M.A.C. Lipglass. Hubs doesn't to kiss me while I'm wearing it because he thinks it's too sticky, but whatever. He should've never told me that because now I like to glob it on and kiss him all over his face. Just to be annoying. I mean, LOVING. Just to be loving.


9. Lettuce. Okay, sounds weird, but I really meant salads. However, I can't SAY salads, because all my answers are supposed to start with the letter L, so I have to say lettuce. Whatever, give me a break, it's late. And I really do like salads. A lot.



10. Last call. This might seem like an odd choice, but I'm a fan of last call for multiple reasons. One, I know it means that it is very unlikely that I will get any more drunk than I already am, thus lessening the probability of a very hungover morning. Two, I get to go home soon. And since I am lazy, home = good. Three, I feel very proud of myself that I stayed at the bar until last call, thus reassuring myself that I am not as old as I feel and instead a young, vibrant, tireless party-goer.
